Norwood Performance opened in February of 1999.  Owner James Patterson purchased the business from Bob Norwood of Norwood Autocraft after working with Bob since 1983.

In addition to building ultimate Ferrari engines, James was part of the team that established 47 land speed records in the Oldsmobile Aerotech Aurora V8 program at Fort Stockton in 1992.  Photo of James in the car along with official Oldsmobile press release and congratulatory letter are here.

In August of 1999, 2000 and 2001 we set  land speed records at Bonneville with a highly modified Toyota MR-2.  Click here for a Jeff Hartman's write up.
